Words, horticulture, painting and photography. That is my philosophical path, very succinctly summarized, immigrating into social sciences to end up at the very root of life, with all its shades and colors, through ecological and pictorial practices. The garden, like photography and painting, is an excellent creative space where anything can appear. Doubts, but also hopes. In the last several years, by participating in painting and drawing workshops offered by Louis Couture, I have “at-tempted” creation. Brushstrokes, colors, movements were opportunities for me not only to leave my creative “sol-uo” by producing duo paintings with him, but also to reexamine art and art history in another way. Through what we call Zappartage – animated-like paintings – we have secured techniques, methods in our imaginary worlds, where gods and demons are at war. Inspired especially by Carl Jung and Alice Miller, we try to access our individual and collective imaginations. Finally, thanks to my winter work terms in France, where art, philosophy and psychoanalysis are honored, I plan to put my worries into words in Explorations Diversiformes. Condemned to the present, an artist is simply zapping time.
