Passionate about creating, Lise Danis expressed at an early age her creativity through various means such as sewing, photography and visual arts now. For Lise, creativity has always been a way of expressing herself and her emotions. Lise enjoys experimenting with mixed media in the creation of her paintings. The collage technique is very tactile and allows her to use a variety of unusual materials such as sawdust, ribbon, threads, sand, etc. More recently, her work with acrylic ink leads her into the world of abstract. A wet canvas, several drops of ink and watch the wonders come to life ! Whether it's watercolor, pastel, acrylic or ink, for Lise the use of these materials in her own style opens the door to a freedom of expression appropriate to this medium. She is always looking for various materials and so each painting becomes an adventure !
